We comply with the requirements set out in environmental legislation and aim to exceed these regulations and other provisions. This is our promise and our everyday work towards a more sustainable business.
We are committed to continuously improving our environmental work and reducing the company's energy consumption / finding new, more environmentally friendly alternatives, as well as minimising transport.
We also strive to reduce chemical emissions among our subcontractors and work actively to minimise emissions and other environmentally harmful activities. All subcontractors are inspected at regular intervals.
We work preventively and constantly try to stay one step ahead. We achieve this through training and common sense.
It is our ambition to monitor the company's actual environmental impact, such as energy consumption and emissions.
We use lighting that automatically switches off when not in use, and invest in technology that helps reduce energy consumption.
We have a noticeboard where each month's electricity bill is displayed and compared with the same period the previous year, with the aim of improving every month and achieving lower consumption.
We train our staff in how to show more consideration for the environment in their day-to-day work. Here, we help each other encourage the right behaviour in a considerate way.
We choose eco-friendly cars, where electric or hybrid vehicles are a must. We also try to minimise the number of trips and carpool whenever possible.
We recycle and sort our waste, and ensure that hazardous waste is handled safely.
We strive to use eco-labelled products in our operations. Purchases are made with the utmost care, with checks on content and origin.
We use as few harmful substances as possible and choose environmentally friendly alternatives wherever we can.
We also set environmental requirements for contractors and suppliers, and work together with our partners to develop solutions in environmentally sound technology and resource management.
We regularly talk to our suppliers about what can be done and how we think about environmental matters, as well as the impact we have. We also report this openly to employees and the public.
We welcome input from others and encourage suggestions for measures that can improve our work on the environment and sustainability.
