We use Google Analytics to understand how the website is used — which pages are visited, how visitors find us and roughly where in the world they are. That requires cookies, and they are only set once you accept them in the banner shown on your first visit. If you decline, nothing is measured at all. Your choice is stored in your browser so you are not asked again, and you can change or withdraw it at any time. The statistics are used only to improve the website — never for advertising or to identify individual visitors. The data is processed by Google on our behalf.
The site also uses Vercel’s built-in visitor statistics. It sets no cookies and stores nothing that could identify you as a person.
If you send us a message through the contact form we use the details — name, email address, subject and message — to reply to you. The message reaches us as email and is kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The site has a chat assistant. What you write there is sent to our provider Anthropic in order to answer it, and the questions are stored with us so we can see what visitors wonder about and improve the answers. Please do not enter sensitive personal data in the chat.
We use Vercel for the website and our APIs, Resend to deliver email (data stored in the EU, region eu-west-1), Supabase for our database, Google for visitor statistics and Anthropic for the chat assistant. They process the data only on our instructions. We never sell your data and never share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Messages from the contact form are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry. Questions to the chat assistant are stored without any link to who asked them. Visitor statistics are kept in aggregated form. Your cookie choice is stored only in your own browser — we do not store it at all.
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to the processing and to receive it in a machine-readable format. Contact us at info@gustatus.se and we will help. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
